Frequently Asked Questions
Are all the teachers degreed teachers?
All the teachers are degreed teachers. Every teacher has an Illinois teaching certificate appropriate to the grade level they teach.
What are the student to teacher ratios?
The student to teacher ratio is currently 13.5 students to 1 teacher.
Do your middle grades differ from you primary grades?
Our students in grades 5-8 move from one teacher to the next for each grade. They have five minutes to get from one teacher to the next and are with each teacher for 45 minutes.
Is there a dress code? If yes, where can I get uniforms?
Yes, we do have a dress code. To see a list of what and where to get them see the Parent handbook.
Is there chapel?
We have chapel every Wednesday at 9:00AM. All grades attend chapel. Chapel is lead by faculty and by Pastor Croon.
How can I, as a parent, be involved with the school?
Parents are invited to be as involved as they want to be. Parents and teachers are always in communication. Classes have parties that parents are welcome to come and enjoy. We have a PTL, parent teacher league. Some parents help out with our hot lunch days. There are many other ways to be involved at St. Paul's.
