St. Paul's Lutheran School is accredited by National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA). The NLSA accreditation process takes place every six years. St. Paul's last accreditation was done in March of 2009. During the current accreditation process St. Pauls is focusing on three goals.
Goal 1: Rewrite the entire school curriculum to reflect current Illinois State Board of Education learning goals, standards and outcomes.
Goal 2: Inplement and expand Curriculum Mapping and the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) quarterly achievement testing program.
Goal 3: Revise all of St. Paul's handbooks to reflect appropriate Christian tone.
St. Paul's is also a State of Illinois recognized non-public school. This recognition reflects St. Paul's committment to follow all applicable portions of the Illinois School Code.
